Facilitating, team work, and collaboration are core areas of learning for college faculty to be successful in the college, not only in the classroom, but also in working with colleagues, managers, and committees. Facilitation skills make both collaboration and team work possible and are essential for co-ordinators to effectively manage the myriad of complexities in their roles. This workshop will focus on some of the key skills that effective facilitators use to manage meetings, collaborate with others, and handle a variety of situations that present themselves to faculty and program co-ordinators.
